People-power is the only power we've got — without volunteers, there would be no WAGS.
I. VOLUNTEER IMPACT
The hustle behind every rescue
Volunteers run the events that pay our vet bills, drive animals to surgeries and meet-and-greets, take the photos that get them adopted, and handle the paperwork that keeps a no-shelter rescue legal and running. For every adoption that happens, a volunteer's hands were on it somewhere.
II. volunteer opportunities
Get Involved
No shelter shifts, no kennel cleaning — as a foster-based rescue, what we need most is people-power. Our events run all year, including WAGSTOCK, our annual music festival, and they fund everything we do. We'll take help wherever you can give it, with an immediate need in these areas:
Organizing and running fundraisers
Marketing, PR, and social media
Transport (driving animals to vets, fosters, and adoption events)
Foster and adoption coordination
